Product Overview 

The Phrozen Quick-Release Resin Vat is the standard 2L resin vat for the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX. Its latch-and-frame release film design replaces traditional screw-based film installation, so you can swap the film quickly without a screwdriver or extra tools. The 2L capacity holds about 2.5 bottles of resin for overnight prints without refilling, while the extra-wide handles and pour spout make the vat easier to hold, pour, and drain with less dripping.

What is a resin vat? 

A resin vat is a key component of an MSLA resin 3D printer that holds the photopolymer resin. During printing, UV light passes through the release film at the bottom of the vat, such as FEP, PFA, or ACF, curing the resin layer by layer to form the model. A stable, durable vat helps the print process run smoothly, keeps resin flow even, and supports consistent model quality.  

What Is a Quick-Release Resin Vat? 

A Quick-Release Resin Vat is designed to make release film replacement faster. The film is secured with fixing plates and latches instead of traditional screws, so you can replace the film without a screwdriver or extra tools and reduce maintenance time. 

The official Phrozen aluminum resin vat is CNC-machined, then finished with sandblasting and powder coating for high strength, durability, and long-term structural stability. It also comes with a pre-installed release film, so you can start printing right after installation.
